पृथिवि देवयजन्योषध्यास्ते मूलं मा हिंसिषं व्रजं गच्छ गोष्ठानं
वर्षतु ते द्यौर्बधान देव सवित: परमस्यां पृथिव्या: शतेन
पाशैर्योऽस्मान्द्वेष्टि यं च वयं द्विष्मस्तमतो मा मौक्॥
(यजुर्वेद १-२५)
पृथ्वी पवित्र है। यह हमारा परम कर्तव्य है, कि इसकी शुद्धता और पवित्रता हमेशा बनी रहे। हमें पृथ्वी की वनस्पति क्षमता को कभी हानि नहीं पहुंचाना चाहिए। जो दुष्ट प्रवृत्ति के लोग हानि पहुंचाते हैं, उन्हें ईश्वर तुम दुष्ट कर्मों से निवृत्त कर दो। हमें पृथ्वी की शुद्धता बनाए रखने के लिए यज्ञ करना चाहिए और सब मनुष्यों को चाहिए की परस्पर ईर्ष्या द्वेष भुलाकर एक दूसरे के सुख की वृद्धि के लिए प्रयास करें।
The Earth is sacred. I will never damage the fertility of vegetation of Earth. May God evil mind people who hurt the fertility of vegetation be eliminated. We will do Yajna for purifying the Earth. May God, the Yajna bring Rain and Light. We should forget our differences. Let’s make together the Earth, seat of Yajna, a pleasant place to live. (Yajurveda 1-25)

We salute those braves and righteous who fight against the wicked. We invoke them to come to our homes and institutions and accept our hospitality and bless us with thier gifts. (Yajurveda 2-32)
