पुस्तक के बारे में

महादेव टोप्पो झारखण्ड व आदिवासी मुद्दों, समस्याओं, विषयों पर लिखने को अपनी कमजोरी बताते रहे है. यह कमजोरी अब उनकी खासियत और पहचान बन गई है. लेकिन, उनके प्रकाशित पुस्तकों की संख्या कम है. “आदिवासी विश्व-दर्शन” उनकी प्रकाशित होनेवाली तीसरी पुस्तक है। इसमें साहित्य, संस्कृति, भाषा, पुस्तक, कला, सिनेमा, महिला के अलावा आदिवासी-वाद्य माँदर को बनाने की प्रक्रिया पर एक आलेख सम्मिलित है। उन्हें डर लगता है कि माँदर खो गया तो आदिवासी भाषा, संस्कृति, इतिहास का रक्षक व सोच और अवधारणा का मूल-आधार खो जाएगा। माँदर की उपयोगिता की बात करते, वे पहले भी कविता – “माँदर का साथ” और लेख ‘बचेगा माँदर, तो बचेगी सुरीली आवाजें, बचेगी भाषा’ – के माध्यम से सावधान कर चुके हैं कि माँदर के खो जाने से आदिवासी-समुदाय की भाषिक, सांस्कृतिक पहचान और अस्तित्व संकटग्रस्त हो सकती है। अब इस संकट को लोग पहचानने और महसूसने लगे हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त उन्होंने अपने लिखने के कारण की भी चर्चा की है। हरिराम मीणा, अनुज लुगुन, मिथिलेश के किताबों की चर्चा है। पुस्तक में संकलित विविध लेख आदिवासी साहित्य, कला, जीवन और दर्शन आदि में रूचि ऱखनेवाले जिज्ञासु पाठकों, छात्रों, शोधार्थियों आदि के लिए उपयोगी साबित हो सकती है क्योंकि “आदिवासी विश्व-चेतना” के माध्यम से आदिवासी-जीवन संबंधी विविध मुद्दो, विषयों, समस्याओं, संकटों, अंतर्द्वन्द्वों को, वर्तमान वैश्विक-संदर्भों में कुछ अनछुए प्रसंगों को भी समझने का प्रयास किया है।

जंगल अपने दूसरे रूप में धरती की हरियाली, जिजीविषा, उर्वरता और सृजन का माध्यम है। यह आदिवासी के लिए जीवन, सृजन के अलावा भावी पीढ़ी की सुरक्षा का आधार भी है। ये उसके जीवन से जुड़े जरूरी अवयवों की तरह है और उनके जीवन के हर पहलू से एकसूत्र में गुंथे हुए हैं। मनुष्य की धनलोलुपता ने डोडो जैसे अनेक पशु-पक्षियों को नष्ट कर, उनसे जुड़ी प्राकृतिक सृजन-गतिविधियाँ, क्रिया-कलापों को न केवल प्रदूषित और कमजोर किया है बल्कि इसे लगभग नेस्तनाबूद किया है। अब सभ्य मनुष्य को निर्णय लेना है कि, क्या वह सभ्यता और विकास की इसी आत्मघाती, विनाशकारी, आदमखोर, धरतीखोर राह की ओर बढ़े! या थोड़ा ठिठककर, रुककर सोचे कि अब जितना बचा है, इस सुन्दर, ऊर्वर धरती को, भावी-पीढ़ी के लिए बचा ले! इस नेक काम के लिए आदिवासी, विश्व भर में, सदा संघर्ष करता, उसके आगे और बगल में भी खड़ा है. सभ्य और विकसित समाज निर्णय ले कि उन्हें प्रदूषित, गंदी, कमजोर होती धरती चाहिए या स्वस्थ, स्वच्छ, मजबूत, हरी-भरी, उर्वर धरती!
